"So far I\u2019m mightily impressed. Arrived on a pallet in a large sack, and a polythene wrapper to ensure everything kept dry. \r\nThe wood is so beautiful it really does seem a pity to burn it. \r\nAs a first time buyer of logs (apart from the garage variety) I would definitely buy again from Dalby Firewood, admittedly tried to keep it local. It\u2019s a 10 from Nige\ud83d\udc4f"

“prompt delivery on the date agreed. The only downside is the delivery agent left the wood on the street out side our driveway because the driveway is gravelled. We had to find someone else to then move the wood onto our driveway/parking area. Appeared to be a pretty feeble excuse.”

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. I'm pleased to hear that your delivery arrived on it's dedicated day and you're happy with the product you've received. In regards to your comments about the gravel delivery, as the delivery company use pallets trucks to move the pallet the wheels jam across gravel so unfortunately they physically cannot move pallets over gravel surface, when moving such large weights over uneven surfaces there is also a great chance the pallet will tip over. All of these details are described on our website as you go through the ordering process and in the T&C's that you must tick upon placing your order.

“I was recommended this company by my neighbour who'd been impressed by the service and the quality of the wood. I'm glad he made the recommendation. Dalby's service from the moment I ordered online to the day the wood was delivered was superb. The wood arrived well packaged which was a relief because unpacking was not going to be for a few days. When I did unpack I was pleased with both the sizing and quality and most impressively just how dry the wood was. The wood is by no means the cheapest but it's certainly the best I've used. We bought the large crate and I think it will last all winter. Certainly I couldn't have bought any more as I don't have the space to store it. I would highly recommend this company.”

“My first time buying from Dalby. I ordered by phone, 2 meter cube Dalby gold crate and 25 bags of kindling. The young lady I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and made the process easy. The order was delivered within 5 days and the driver called when 30 minutes away. The crate was wheeled direct into my garage quickly and efficiently. My only error was not checking the size of the kindling bags, I suspect I now have 2 winters worth. So far an excellent experience, I will happily report again when we start to use the stove and hence the Ash logs. Regarding ordering and delivery I would recommend Dalby Firewood.”

“I first used Dalby gold last season for my wood stove and was amazed how much better than seasoned wood it was (hotter, slower and cleaner burn). Just taken delivery of another create to use on my wood fire oven and again so impressed. I didn't go with the slim cut as I didn't feel I needed thinner logs with my oven but I can split them if needed anyway. Spend the extra money and get quality wood, I won't shop anywhere else now! Thank you Dalby Fire Wood. Nigel”

“I opted for the 'Gold' Ash logs, which were more expensive but more efficient, and have found the claims to be true! Swift delivery by Dalby meant we were not kept waiting, and the quality of our logs reassured us it was money well spent. There is no doubt these are ultimately better value in the long run. Burning brightly, and warmly, I thoroughly recommend Dalby, for whatever logs you decide upon!”
