“I have been very impressed with this charcoal. It is easy and quick to light, and reaches a high temperature very quickly, which is ideal for searing steaks. However, I have also managed a 7hour cook with the BBQ maintaining approx 175°C, so should maintain lower temperatures for even longer. Once you have finished your cook you can close down the BBQ and the charcoal left can be used on your next cook. The charcoal lumps are good sized with not many crushed little bits. It is also well priced, so a winner all round.”

“I’ve used Dalby for a number of years now. If you want great quality wood with reliable customer service go no further! When I call in previously I had ordered a Birch crate and found it burnt too quickly, the lady talked me through all of the options and helped out! I personally appreciate their professionalism throughout! Not cheap but actually great value for money if you ask me! 👍”

“My first order from Dalby Firewood. Ordering from anywhere else seemed difficult in the Covid19 world but the Dalby order arrived as promised within a couple of working days (over Easter too). The charcoal was great. Restaurant grade but the pieces weren't too big (as I've had from other suppliers). Lit well, no spitting, burnt long and hot. Great. I'll not be going to the local garage to buy in future. Dalby all the way”

“Had my first delivery from Dalby and am extremely pleased. Wood size & packaging as described and delivery excellent. And pizza oven temperature very noticeably hotter (~50-75 deg C) than with previous supply due to low water content- would highly recommend.”
