“A very pleasant and helpful delivery driver. Some years ago we used to be advised of the imminent arrival of the logs by phone. It would be helpful if this practice could be reinstated as I had to get out of bed to open the garage door because of an arrival prior to 8am. “Great quality wood at a good price, short turn round between ordering and delivery, very helpful delivery guy although I don’t believe he actually worked for Dalby Firewood and the delivery was outside the window given for it by about an hour but all in very happy with my experience”

Hi Brian, thank you for your review. All crates are delivered by a 3rd party company due to transportation reasons. This has always been the case. 🙂 In regards to the time it was delivered, i can see it was delivered after 17:30 which i can only apologise for. This time of year, there is a huge increase of freight going through the network so much busier than usual! Hope the wood is up to standard and hope you have a lovely Christmas!

“Good quality, dry, same length logs. Arrived well packaged. 1st time to order bag, always ordered the crates. I believe crates are far better value as very well stacked. Quite disappointed how many logs are actually in the bag.”

“Great service from Dalby. Usually get the kiln dried logs but got the slightly cheaper seasoned ones this time. They are more rough and ready with bark and signs of disease in parts and because we have a small wood burner the ones with branches and knobbly bits on have had to be given to a neighbour. Will spend the extra on the kiln dried logs next time.”

Hi Josephine, Thank you for the 4 star review. As per our email we sent out a couple weeks back prior to you ordering, we made all of our customers aware we were closing for a week due to maintenance and there will be no deliveries within this period and on our return we got your delivery to you within 3 days. Despite the delay, we hope the logs are up to our usual standard.

“Always efficient in processing an order, polite delivery process and a dry and easily split log. The one improvement that could be made is to split some of the larger logs before going into the delivery sack.”
