“Got delivery in June 2023 so haven't used the logs yet. Delivery was great, the guy put them where I wanted them. I had some logs from Dalby last year, they were the easiest to light and burn. Not the cheapest, but, great company.”

“We have used Dalby for over 7 years and always are very happy with the product. We ordered a pallet on special offer and the delivery was unfortunately not to their normal high quality standard - it never arrived ! I contacted Olivia at Dalby who tried to get the delivery reorganised for the next day but sadly this didn’t happen. Since we were going on holiday I asked for the delivery to be rescheduled for about 10 days later. This she did and the pallet arrived as expected. They had some difficulty getting it off the lorry and it was clear that the original pallet had been badly damaged. It had all been put on another pallet and then shrink wrapped. Delivered a bit wonky with some loose pieces on top but all to the excellent Dalby quality. I’ll forgive them this one. Thanks Olivia!”

“Good service - delivery driver polite and helpful. Have not tried this batch of wood yet, but if the weather permits over Easter weekend, will fire our pizza oven up and test it.”

We understand the prices have rapidly increase throughout the year but this is down to the prices of raw material, production costs etc and the increase was unavoidable. “Wood burns from the start with very little kindling and makes little ash. Glass is nice and clean. I don’t have a moisture meter but would say judging by the evidence it’s well dried.”

“A bit disappointed for the first time in many orders.We ordered Standard/thin but almost all the logs in the bag were VERY large. They will all need chopping up smaller. The bag of oak and birch was much better.”

“The product is excellent and the customer service is also very good. Fast delivery, but the courier refused to wheel the crate to the door at the end of the drive. This was despite easy access through a concrete ramp that we built just for deliveries of heavy products. We had to pay some cash and in the end he agreed to do the work, which required a bit of effort (pushing the heavy cart)”

Francesca, I am pleased to hear your are happy with the product. On the other hand i am astonished at the fact you had to pay this driver. We will not accept this under any circumstances. Please note this is a 3rd party delivery company so this is not our own staff. I will deal with this immediately and contact you privately regarding the matter.

“Very satisfied with the logs ( oak and birch)which measured about 12% on our moisturre meter. The only point of improvement would be to offer a stacking service and removal of the delivery pallet? I appreciate there would be an extra charge for this and perhaps there could be an incentivisation for collection of old pallets? Overall though very happy with the quality of logs. The customer service team are very professional and helpful based on previous dealings with them. Thank you”

Hi Richard, Thank you for your review and glad you are happy with the logs and service. Unfortunately a stacking service would not be possible as we use a third party delivery company hence why we are also unable to collect the pallets. Please note that these pallets are untreated and kiln dried so they can be chopped up and used for kindling. Hope that helps and we look forward to hearing from you again.

“The wood was delivered on time in crates which stored the wood until I was ready to transfer it to my woodshed Refundable crates would be preferable and would reduce the cost to the customer The delivery driver was pleasant and courteous”
