“Easy to purchase, delivered quicker than anyone else, product great and will definitely use again..... only reason not 5star is although the order delivery time was between 8-5 the updated was 11-1 then gradually changed throughout the day and come at 4pm. This was still in the original timescale but annoying. Small thing, great service and as I said would us again”

“I use Dalby Firewood every year for my winter stock for my wood burning stove. I usually give a rate of 5 stars but have reduced it to 4 because of the new prices. The wood is of its usual good quality and well dried but very expensive. Rob Williamson”

“Charcoal in 2Kg bags looks great, though I miss the really large chunks that I got in the 10Kg bags last time.”

Thank you for the review, Andrew. Apologies we weren't able to stock the 10kg charcoal this season. We know how well it goes and fingers crossed it will be back in stock soon! In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the 2kg and hope it works just as well for you.

“Excelllent service, excellent quality logs, good delivery communication and packaging. Not at all happy paying £175 for a dump bag of logs however ((25% increase in months) for a regular customer I would hope to get some discount. Won’t be using again if price remand so high.”

Hi John Thanks for the review and your continued custom. The price increase does not reflect our increases in costs. Production, fuel and transport have doubled, and the price of raw materials has more than doubled. Unfortunately, we have had no choice but to increase the prices. I hope you understand our frustration and very difficult situation.

“It would have been a five but the logs were delivered on the wrong day, good job we were in otherwise there would have been nowhere for the delivery except on the main road!”

Hi Jen Thanks for the review. Sorry that the delivery company turned up on the wrong day. Mistakes happen. If you had not been there the delivery company will not leave the delivery anywhere other than your requested place, so the crate would have been taken back to the depot and delivered on the correct day. Thanks for pointing this out though, we will be asking them why this happened.

“Logs are always dry and ready to burn, buying process easy and delivery is always on time. Only four star rating as there is no bulk load tipped option saving the cost of five bulk bags on my last order and having to send five one use bulk bags for re cycling.”

“Website user friendly. Delivery as arranged. Quality of the wood very good, although some logs very large, and will hopefully fit into the stove. Only comment is delivery comes on a pallet and packaged in tarpaulin, and once unpacked and stored I am now the owner of a pallet and the tarpaulin ......hopefully they will come in useful!”

Thank you for leaving us a review Imelda. Glad the delivery got to you on time and the quality of the wood is up to standard. The pallets are untreated and kiln dried so they can be chopped up and used for kindling.

“Took a little while to arrive but service was good. Only a shame they won’t take away previous log deliveries bag. Seems a waste and not very eco.”

Hi Adam, thank you for leaving us a review. We hope the logs are up to standard. We do try to deliver within 7 days, however, it can be difficult when we are provided with only one day you can accept delivery. We do also take away the previous bags if requested.
