“First class service, arrived 3 days earlier than expected and only 18 hours after ordering the previous afternoon. Great lumpwood charcoal 2 big bags. Awesome service. will be back soon. Thanks very much indeed.”

Thank you very much Charles for the 5* review we really appreciate it! We do have Pizza Oven handy bags available which are thinner than the Birch handy bags and suitable for domestic pizza ovens - hope this helps!

“Delivered on time and the charcoal is great. There are a large lumps for long burns and little 'shrapnel'! Used last weekend and gave a good controllable heat. Just as required. Recommended.”

“Prompt delivery even due covid, driver was very courteous and delivered right to log store. Cuts of wood means no need for further cutting. Burns better than hoped with no residual smell tainting everything and quickly gets up to heat. Would definitely use again, and heartily recommend”

“What more can I say - I called Dalby Firewood on Tuesday and my order was delivered on Wednesday - the driver was so very helpful and put the bags in exactly the right place - the wood is of extremely good quality and the bags were absolutely full to the brim - Thank you all”

“Bought 2 x 10kg bags of restaurant quality lumpwood charcoal a few weeks back after seeing it recommended by Lee the Fire Cook on Instagram. Not had chance until this week to use it (British weather 😔) but have to say what a find this has been. Easy to light. Burns long and hot. So far I’ve smoked 12 chicken thighs and half way through smoking some brisket in about 20 coals in total after about 8 stayed in shape from earlier this week. Won’t ever go back to ‘shop bought’ charcoal or briquettes ever again!! This Hull lad is converted!!”
