“Dalby Firewood Kiln Dried Ash has proved to be the best wood for my needs. However, this year my wallet has been severely tested (Price in 2021 £190 price in 2023 £400). I have seriously considered several other options. Buying bags of Kiln Dried Birch, at £24.95 a pop, which burned fiercely well. My wife's choice was to pay as we go, mine was for a 2m cubed crate. Testing two bags of Birch versus the equivalent cubic area of Dalby Ash ended up with the Birch burning for a total of 50hrs versus the Ash burning for 62hrs. Dalby performed much better, around 17%, and convinced my wife that buying Dalby Ash was the right choice. As a bonus, the pallet will provide around about £25 - £50 kindling depending upon your source. If you can be bothered taking out the nails and cutting in up of course. A variety of wood types are available and the crate is a work of art and holds around standard size 490 chunks. Dalby Firewood, my Number One Choice Never been disappointed”

“I bought a crate ahead of requirements and then ended in hospital from Xmas to December. Great service from Dalby and their delivery team- when I wasn’t there to see it delivered.”

“I am very pleased with the quality and delivery of the crate of ash logs. The driver could not bring his vehicle as far as our property because of its size, but he was extremely helpful and managed to wheel the crate as far as our gate. Very satisfied customer.”

“This was the first time we have bought firewood. Dalby was recommended to us by our installer great website delivery was on time driver put the pallet where we asked (wasn't easy cos of skip on the drive) thanks, great service”

“Ordered 3 bags of hardwood logs and were delivered next day onto my driveway. Brilliant service the logs were large cut and burn better than any I have had including kiln dried. I have no hesitation recommending dalby Firewood and will be getting my logs from them on the future”
