“I was glad l happened to come out when wood was delivered so I could ensure it was positioned so that I could unload and transfer it through side gate. Might be useful if delivery man checks position is ok rather than just leaving it.”

Mr Manners Thank you for your review. The delivery drivers do not knock on doors to ask for instructions. The exact delivery information is requested upon placing your order and the drivers will leave the product exactly where requested. Most customers are not in when delivery is made so this is why we ask for specific instructions.

“Great timely delivery. Firefighters are expensive although natural. Happy to support your local independent business rather than a national firm instead.”

“Can't give you 5 stars until I've tried the logs. But so far a 5 star service. Delivered in sealed bag to keep off the rain. Size perfect at 25cms. Have recommended you to a friend.”

“Dalby Firewood excellent, though they were let down by their courier who failed to deliver for reasons that were unclear, possibly a breakdown or heavy traffic. Dolby Firewood immediately rearranged delivery and refunded the delivery fee. The rearranged delivery arrived as scheduled.”

“Great product - we get the loose bags and the fire lighters. The Dalby Gold is easy to light, burns fully and produces good heat - have been a customer for three years always excellent service from Dalby.”

“Can’t fault the ordering process and the quality of product. Would have liked an update on delivery day with a time slot. Had to chase. A call or text message to advise would have been good.”

Thank you very much for your review Margaret, we're really pleased to hear that you were happy with the ordering and quality of the product. The crates are delivered by a third party company, standard free delivery is an all day delivery service between 8.30am-5.30pm. We do have timed slots available but these incur a small delivery cost. As crates are delivered by a third party company we are unable to provide text notifications. However as per the delivery instructions given we did add a request for the driver to call you 30 mins prior to delivery, which I hope made it more convenient for you. We look forward to hearing from you again.

“Easy to order, quick delivery - mixture of sizing in the logs, some are much too big for my log burner and I’ll have to try and split them again or I’ll not be able to use them. I ordered the right length to fit the log burner it’s these logs are chunking and just too deep to fit in.”

Hi Stephanie Your previous order was a thickness of Standard/thin. This recent order was standard cut. If you have a small burner then we recommend the thin cut.
