“Just got my 4th order of Logs,Kindlin& Firestarters, Dalby is great Value for money, Swift convenient delivery right to my driveway. Highly recommend. Shame the Builders Bags can't be Reused though!! But they can be recycled by Dalby, or You're Local Household Waste Centres.”

Thank you Thank you so much for leaving us such a great review, we're so pleased that you're happy with your 4th delivery! You're right for Health and Safety we don't reuse the bulk bags just incase of them splitting, but they are fully re-cycable! We look forward to hearing from you again

“Delivery arrived in good time, using a local pallet company, so no messing about. Only fired the woodburner a couple of times with the logs (Birch) so far but they were excellent. Very dry, lit no problem and gave off good heat. Recommended.”

“Delivered exactly where requested. Driver helped to cover the bags over before he left even though the wind and rain were atrocious at the time. Maybe I ordered the wrong logs but there are an awful lot of very small pieces which will burn away quickly and some not much more than kindling size.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review John, we're really pleased to hear that you were happy with the delivery! you had ordered the Thin cut logs, perhaps on the future you may be better off with the Standard cut if you're looking for something a little thicker.

“Order 26th. October and told delivery within a week - you would advise delivery by text and email - at 8:15 am on 29th. a knock on the door = delivery !! Overall logs good and clean but approximately 15% were quite badly wormed (ash) - I realise all timber is subject to same but just letting you know - have trialled your wood , particularly re future use of same for indoor storage .”

Alan On Sunday 28th October at 10:52, your email and SMS message was sent with your delivery information!! Regarding the comment about badly wormed, holes in the wood is evidence of small burrowing animals and not necessarily wood worm. Also these are holes only and not actual worm. This product has been kiln dried at very high temperatures and nothing can survive this exposure even if woodworm was present. 100% of trees are exposed and subject to some sort of burrowing creature and evidence is always visible.

“The order and delivery process was excellent. I ordered the kiln dried ash in a large bag but it does feel slightly damp. In previous years I ordered the plastic bags but moved to the large bag to save on cost and save plastic usage. Can you help.”

“The wood was delivered promptly and efficiently by your driver. The wood (3 bags of kiln dried) is in excellent condition and burns well with minimal waste ash. I will definitely renew my order when this load is consumed. Thankyou”

“As usual when order placed Dalby Firewood provided an excellent and efficient service giving us plenty of notice when delivery was arriving. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star was the wood we have ordered previously was no longer available so had to select an alternative.”

“Log where delivered quickly and to the requested drop off point. The logs look good quality, but the real test will be how well they burn. The cost was £15 a bag more than my old supplier for the standard Seasoned Hardwood Bulk Bag. So hoping that the extra cost is worth while. I did get a £15 discount for buying 3 bulk bags.”

“All good, I ordered 1x (EXTRA-DRY) Dalby Gold Crate (Thin Cut), but some of the logs were not so thin so we did split them to fit our stove but not too difficult.”

Thank you very much for your positive review Mr Hart! We're pleased to hear that you were happy with the products. Glad to hear that your delivery was early in the day. As you said our Free Standard delivery service is all day from between 8.30am-5.30pm, as long as we have full delivery instructions and permission to drop without a signature, customers don't need to be present for delivery. We do have specific timed delivery slots available but these do incur delivery fee's, hope this helps for the future. We look forward to hearing from you again

“The product was ordered for delivery on a pre arranged date between 8.30 and 5.30. Unfortunately it did not arrive until 6.30 without any calls or update as to the delay. I was angry to say the least however when the products did arrive I was very pleased with the packaging and the quality of the product. It was well dried out and in a good manageable size. I was contacted by the company after the weekend who apologised for the lack of updates regarding the delay. All in all I am pleased with the product and will certainly give them a second chance when I want some more. I would still recommend them to any perspective customers.”
