“Easy to purchase, delivered quicker than anyone else, product great and will definitely use again..... only reason not 5star is although the order delivery time was between 8-5 the updated was 11-1 then gradually changed throughout the day and come at 4pm. This was still in the original timescale but annoying. Small thing, great service and as I said would us again”

“The driver was most accommodating in manoeuvring the large lorry to place my bag of wood in my garage hands up for the lady driver. The wood is of high quality and wrapped very well Thanku so much .”

“Lovely helpful person on the phone . I think her name is Olivia . Easy to order online , very straightforward. Arrived the day we picked in the afternoon a little later than expected but we were kept informed of this slight change . Delightful driver / delivery man who even helped me take some logs inside . Really pleased with the wood , should keep us going for a while ! Excellent value . Will definitely recommend your company and order again .”

“Delivered 4 days after ordering, within the half hour interval they said they’d deliver in. Delivery man was friendly and helpful. Although I’ve not had chance to use any yet, the wood looks to be of good quality and of the species ordered. So far, impressed and will order again.”

“I purchased a bag of Dalby Gold in May and the contents were fine for my new log burner, so I ordered another bag of the exactly same product in September, however after delivery when I opened the bag, I found a totally different selection. This second batch has logs of varying lengths and their size in most cases are too large without further splitting to fit my log burner. (see photo first batch at bottom, 2nd batch above). Not sure if I will order again.”

Hi Thanks for the review. The logs on the bottom are standard/thin cut and the logs on the top are standard cut. You ordered standard cut both times. If you had of notified us on receipt of the goods we could have done something about the issue but you have failed to report any issue at all. We can not deal with problems if we are not aware of them. Dealing with issues that are brought to our attention is what makes us different from other suppliers. P.S I am very sure that the logs on the top will fit into a standard woodburner. If they dont then you need standard/thin cut logs. Hope this helps for future.

“Wood arrived quicker than expected it was raining quite hard but delivered in a bulk bag which had a cover. Not tried the wood out yet but on inspection looks good to go. Thanks Dalby Firewood 5 out of 5”
