“The Dalby part the order were excellent as ever. Delivery however not so good. Paid for the am delivery and at 12noon phoned Pallett Alliance (the delivery agent) and was told delivery would be 1:00ish. When challenged had phone put down! Delivery driver arrived at 1:00ish and was not aware that it was a timed delivery. Dalby promised to return the am extra delivery charge which is fine but not really the point.”

Hi Jeremy, Pleased you are happy with the order. In regards to the delivery, i understand you paid £10 for an AM delivery which is between 08:30-12:30. The driver was just running behind schedule which can happen and is out of our control. I can see they then did arrive at 13:05. £10 has been refunded to your payment method.

Hi Brian, thank you for your review. All crates are delivered by a 3rd party company due to transportation reasons. This has always been the case. 🙂 In regards to the time it was delivered, i can see it was delivered after 17:30 which i can only apologise for. This time of year, there is a huge increase of freight going through the network so much busier than usual! Hope the wood is up to standard and hope you have a lovely Christmas!

“Great service from Dalby. Usually get the kiln dried logs but got the slightly cheaper seasoned ones this time. They are more rough and ready with bark and signs of disease in parts and because we have a small wood burner the ones with branches and knobbly bits on have had to be given to a neighbour. Will spend the extra on the kiln dried logs next time.”
