“Excellent delivery arrangements, drivers are very helpful and sensitive to customer needs as regards drop-off. Might seem a bit prices, but the wood is superb. I have a cheap little stove (not really good enough quality) but one log will burn for a full hour and heat the entire house. Cheaper woods burn for much less time and not as hot meaning your chimney gets blocked with 'clinker' . We love Dalby and will continue to use them as long as we have a woodstove.”

“You can get cheaper wood but it's just not worth it, it either burns too fast or not at all. We use the seasoned hard wood which burns well from the day it arrives to the last log. This is the best value available”

“A great buy. The hardwood logs are perfectly dry, light easily, give out a lot of heat and burn for a long time. Stove is on everyday and two bags last most of the winter. Top customer service too. How they manage to get them over our hedge and into the perfect place I don't know (I've not managed to be there when delivery takes place)!”

“Last time we ordered the ash and were totally satisfied. We though we would have a change this time and ordered oak, unfortunately we are not as happy with this as the ash. We get a lot of smoke when burning some of the logs and when we tested with a meter it showed quite a high moisture content. Cannot fault the delivery which was excellent”

“After ringing around a number of businesses for advice on the best wood to burn and information regarding wood burners, Darby firewood was, By far the most professional. I spoke to a girl called Sabrina who was very helpful. The wood was delivered 2 days later and I've been very warm ever since. 100% I'll be using Daley firewood next year. The wood is very good quality”

“Delivered on time very well palleted and straight down the drive in to garage. Just started using the logs and the burn well if a little quickly. Don't think they give as much heat as compressed sawdust logs though.”

“Dalby Firewood did exactly what was described on the internet - good dry wood well packed and efficintly delivered; I can also make good use of the pallete! Whilst slightly expensive when compared to local providers, the quality and quantity is assured.”
