“I have taken my logs from Dalby Firewood for some time now and always found the quality to be very good. The delivery arrangements are always simple and adhered to. I shall continue to use them.”

“The logs came a very short time after I had placed the order. The mix of birch and oak suits our stove very well, and the moisture of the logs is low. I shall continue to order, like as not and subject to the usual price comparisons, from the same place in future.”

“Love the logs, little annoyed I have bought kiln dried logs and yet the polythen was all torn and I ended up trying to waterproof the crate top after delivery, I have a photo of my crate.”

I'm so sorry to hear that your plastic topping had ripped, this must have happened in transit as they are fully sealed upon dispatching, I will speak to the delivery company about this as it should not have arrived damaged. Please accept our apologies in regards to this.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review Mark. We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy about the slight price increase, unfortunately due to the in crease in demand for firewood the cost of the raw material has increased which is reflected in our pricing. We value maintaining our high standard of products, rather than cutting costs buying cheap raw material and producing inferior products. We hope that you'll remain one of our valued customers, the high standard of product that we guarantee does have a higher calorific value and is far better for your chimney/flu therefore making it more cost effective in the long run.

“Excellent, helpful service. I've recently had a knee operation and could not store my logs. The delivery driver couldn't have been more helpful in putting the large bag into my store. No hesitation in recommending Dalby Firewood.”

“Prompt delivery of wood on the day promised. It is worth noting that the bag came on a non returnable pallet which I don't recall reading on the web site - was fine as I chopped it up for extra kindling!! Communication was excellent”

Sorry you didn't realise the bulk bags is delivered on a pallet, for our nationwide deliveries this is the case as it's delivered through the pallet network. However I'm glad to hear you broke the pallet down - it's also Kiln Dried so suitable to use for extra kindling!
